Accept Pregnancy Center
Accept Pregnancy Center is a Christian pro-life crisis resource center which is under the guidance of the elders of the Church of Christ of West Orange. I would like to volunteer for:
Peer counselor, Christian individuals who are willing to be trained to serve as lay counselors to APC clients.
Data entry & updates: to client records.
Teach parenting classes: adult & children classes are held each thursday from 6-7pm. Curriculum is prepared and provided to you.
Committee leader or worker: help plan and organize annual fundraiser events.

This ministry is designed to assist members with their local move form one house to another.

Homeless
There are three programs that we are currently involved with in the community. Fresh Start is a program that provides 3 meals a day for 16-20 men at the men’s shelter on East Central Street in Orlando. The Lord’s Lunch program serves lunch every Saturday at the Christian Service Center in Ocoee.
Fresh Start– prepare dinner and provide breakfast & lunch on a rotating basis.
Lord’s Lunch- be assigned to a group that will serve lunch on Saturdays on
a rotating basis.
Nursery
Staffed during Sunday morning service.

We have adult Bible Communities that meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

This is a monthly activity sponsored by Churches of Christ throughout the Central Florida area. The West Orange congregation hosts this activity annually in the spring.
