About Student Ministry

The West Orange Student Ministry is also known as OVERFLOW.

Our mission is to simply live in the OVERFLOW.

Jesus said, "For out of the OVERFLOW of the heart the mouth speaks." Luke 6:45 (tniv)

In order to live in the OVERFLOW, we teach and follow these Seven Checkpoints.

 

#1 Authentic Faith - God can be TRUSTED. He will do all He has PROMISED to do, so be REAL with God.

#2 Spiritual Disciplines - When we draw CLOSER to God, we will SEE as God sees.

#3 Moral Boundaries - In a society that has lost its values, we must go to God...FIND, ESTABLISH and MAINTAIN Godly moral boundaries.

#4 Healthy Friendships - We must UNDERSTAND that our friends will determine our DIRECTION.

#5 Wise Choices - WALK wisely.

#6 Ultimate Authority - FREEDOM is FOUND under God.

#7 Others First - When you make yourself NOTHING, then you are SOMETHING!
